Canon TX 1 and Vimeo

Follow these steps to compress your HD video files from Canon TX-1 :

1) Transfer your video files from your TX-1 to your computer. If you have not installed virtualdub, install it now.
You will also need to install xVid codec .


After installing Virtualdub and Xvid, open your AVI video file in virtual dub:

Select Video -> Fast Recompress

Select Compression -> Xvid Mpeg4

Finally, save it as a AVI file. The converted file will be much smaller and suitable for upload on Vimeo or any other Video sharing site.
